CLAIMS GUIDE
What To Do In Case Of Damage?
Knowing what to do when you have an accident, flood, glass breakage, theft or any other damage makes the process easier. Your priority is always your safety. Then document the damage, prepare the necessary reports and file the claim. Select your situation below and we'll show the steps.
👆 Select the damage type above — your step-by-step flow will appear here.
Traffic Accident
Safety first
Check for injuries. If there is injury, fire or serious danger, call 112 Emergency. Assess whether moving the car creates new danger, then move to a safe spot.
Document the scene
If possible without moving the vehicles, record their positions, relative placement, damaged areas, plates, road/traffic signs and the overall view with photo + video. Capture the wide-angle scenario, not just the damage.
Report if needed
Only if damage is material and parties agree, an Accident Report or the Sigortam360 Mobile Accident Report can be filled. If there is death/injury, a single vehicle, missing licence or traffic insurance, alcohol suspicion, a public vehicle or third-party damage — do not fill a report; call the traffic police.
Notify the insurer
Prepare policy no, plate, insured details, date-time, location and description, driver and other-vehicle info, the report and photos/videos, then file the claim.
Call RYL Sigorta
We guide you on which documents are needed, how to track the file, the expert and repair process, and how your coverage applies.
Parked Vehicle Hit
Document the damage
Record the damaged areas and the surroundings with photo + video. Keep any note/contact left behind.
Look for witnesses & cameras
Identify nearby security cameras and possible witnesses; footage can be very valuable in the claim.
Kasko coverage + report
A parked-vehicle hit is usually covered by kasko. Check your coverage and file a claim with the insurer.
Consult RYL Sigorta
We assess the most favourable path regarding deductible, no-claim discount and the process.
Glass Breakage
Document the damage
Clearly photograph the cracked or broken glass and its position.
Check glass coverage
See whether your policy has glass breakage coverage; it is usually included in kasko policies.
Approved service / report
Replacement can be done via the insurer's approved glass service. File the claim first and wait for guidance.

Electrical safety

Document the damage
Record the damaged areas, items and the source of the water with photo + video.
Keep documents & invoices

Report + call RYL

Keep official documents
Keep the fire brigade report and official documents about the cause of the fire.
Preserve the items

Health
Check the contracted institution
